Into to Spearfishing Class

There are two sessions:

1. Pool Session Instruction/Safety
2. Guided Spearfishing Ocean Session

Each session is $350.

Students can take either session individually or sign up for both sessions for $700.

There is a two-student minimum for the course.

Pool Session $350

The pool session includes dry training and an in-water portion.

• Buddy and Safety Training
• How to Find Fish
• Spearfishing Equipment
• Speargun handling and safety
• Fish ID
• Hunting tactics
• Speargun Target Practice
• Fish Care

In-water portion

Students will practice:

• Safe swimming while handling a speargun
• Duck diving with a speargun
• Presenting a speargun and aiming
• Shooting at targets with a speargun

Spearfishing / Ocean Session — $350

Schedule

Afternoon session: 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Session focus

This session includes guided spearfishing on the reef and putting all the skills together to freedive safely under the guidance of an instructor.
