Swimbaits

The Swim Bait collection features paddle-tail and jointed swimbaits built to imitate the anchovies, sardines, and squid that calico bass, halibut, and yellowtail feed on up and down the West Coast. Swimbaits are stocked in a range of sizes and colors to match local forage and water clarity, from smaller 3- to 4-inch baits for finesse presentations around kelp and rock structure to larger swimbaits designed to draw strikes from bigger bass and halibut on the sand. These baits pair with the lead heads in our Lead Head collection, and staff can help dial in the right head weight and swimbait combination for a given depth, current, and retrieve speed. Swimbaits remain one of the most consistent producers for West Coast structure fishing, and this collection is built around the patterns and sizes that perform locally rather than a generic national lineup.
