PFI Freediving Class with boat Trip October 25,26,27

Blue Water Hunter is holding a freediving course from October 25-27 using the Performance Freediving International platform. PFI instructors have taught more than 10,000 people to freedive more safely, longer, and deeper! Space is limited to 6 divers.

This program provides the training and knowledge to safely freedive to a depth of 60 feet or deeper. With a high emphasis on safety and comfort, we will cover the following:

• Essential safety procedures for breath-holding
• Equalization for depth diving
• Equipment for freediving and snorkeling
• The fundamental physics and physiology of freediving: understanding what happens to your body at depth
• Safety & Problem Management
• Freediving Technique Development
• Breathing and Breath-Hold Technique Development

Our instructor is Seamus Callaghan, is a Level 3 Freediving Instructor Trainer and a 30-plus-year veteran of the diving industry. Seamus is also an accomplished spear fisherman, winning numerous titles over his career, including the USA National Spearfishing Champion.

Lecture: Meet up at Blue Water Hunter in the Santa Barbara Harbor, 5 PM to 9 PM

Saturday, October 26
Pool: 9 AM - 5 PM at a private residence in Santa Barbara. Pre-dive techniques, stretching, static breath holds, and much more.

Sunday, October 27
Boat Trip: Open water at Anacapa Island, 7 AM to 4 PM
